What is IELTS?
IELTS is an English language test for study, immigration and job. Over three million people take this test every year. IELTS is accepted by more than 12,000 employers, universities, schools and immigration bodies around the globe. IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. Your ability to listen, read, write and speak in English will be assessed during the test. IELTS is graded on a scale of 1-9.
For most of the institutes/companies 6 IELTS band is the minimum requirement.

IELTS MODULES
1. Listening
IELTS listening is designed to access your listening skills. During the test you need to:
- Understand the main idea of the topic.
- Recognize the purpose and understanding of the speaker.
- Develop the argument.
2. Reading
IELTS reading will access your ability to:
- Optimally read the passage.
- Extract the main idea.
- Skim the details.
- Understand the writer’s opinions.
3. Writing
In IELTS writing you have to be careful about
- Writing the response optimally.
- Use grammar and spellings correctly.
4.Speaking
IELTS speaking is a face-to-face communication test. The examiner will access your ability to:
- Communicate in a good manner
- Speak at length.
- Justify your views and opinions
- Analyze and discuss the issues under discussion.
